August 09, Janata Voice Correspondent, RamechhapThe number of people being bitten by dogs in Manthali has increased on Sunday as compared to the previous days. On Sunday alone, more than 15 people were injured when a dog bit people and reached the bus park from Sunarpani of Manthali Municipality. The injured have been identified as Sanskar Poudel, 12, of Manthali-1. His hands and feet have been seriously affected.

Similarly, Radha Karki, 45, of Sunarpani, Manthali-5, Binda Ramtel, 25, Suroj Magar, 22, of Manthali-11, Sandeep Bisunke, 13, of Teknapur, Manthali-2 and Dilli Sarki, 53, have been identified. The injured have been referred to Teku Hospital for further treatment, according to the Primary Health Center, Manthali.

The dog has been attacking and injuring three people in Sunarpani since 11 am in Sunday.  A teacher of Sunarpani,  Gyaneshwar Ghimire informed Janata Voice. It is learned that the dog, which was biting several people, was taken under control from the Manthali b bus park and killed. For the past two months, many people around Manthali have been attacked by dogs. About 7 people come daily ManthaliPrimary Health Center for the treatment ,Dr.Yuvaraj Sapkota explains.
