August 12, Janakpurdham. Former mayor of Janakpu r and owner of Hotel Rama, Krishna Giri has died of corona virus 
According to his family sources, he died at Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu on Tuesday night at around 12 o’clock. Giri, 72, who has been receiving treatment at Mediciti  Hospital for the past three weeks, had been undergoing treatment on a ventilator for a weak.
Giri was airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment after he complained of breathing difficulties.  According to his son Dr. Santosh Giri, he was suffering from heart disease and high blood pressure.
He was diagnosed with corona infection at the time of his hospitalization.
Although his family members confirmed his death, the hospital did not provide any information.
Giri was the mayor of Janakpur for four years from 2042 BS. He was also the owner of Hotel Rama in Mills Area of ​​Janakpurdham.
