Ramechhap’s lockdown has been tightened.
In a notice issued by the District Administration Office Ramechhap a few days ago, the lockdown model has been modified and the lockdown has become more stringent. More than 40 motorcycles have been taken under control today alone in the action saying that unnecessary vehicles will not be allowed on the road.
According to District Traffic Police Chief Rameshwar Pandey, the operation has been started at Devkota Chowk from 8 am to control the motorcycles.Pandey said that the motorcycles would be kept under control from 8 am to 11 am.
Elaborating further on the motorcycle being taken under control, Pandey further said, “This work has been started from today. For today, motorcycles are only taken under control and released. From tomorrow, we will take a penalty of Rs 1,500 per vehicle if any vehicle is seen on the road except for necessary and authorize vehicle. ‘
Locals have welcomed the action taken by the traffic police as the epidemic of Corona virus Covid 19 is spreading in the community.
