Corona-infected woman dies in Saptari

August 30, 2020  , Saptari. 

Another woman infected with corona has died in Saptari district. The deceased has been identified as a 65-year-old woman of Tetrigachhi in Rajbiraj Municipality- Ward No 2.

She was admitted to the emergency room of Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital on Friday and immediately her swab was collected.  Her swab report came positive on Saturday evening.

However, the woman was referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan for further treatment as she had difficulty breathing during the treatment at around 8 pm on Saturday. Medical Superintendent of Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Dr. Ranjit Jha informed about her death  on the way to Dharan.

At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona infection has reached six in Saptari. Five of the deceased are from Rajbiraj district headquarters and one is from Rupni village municipality.
