Former Judge Madhav Prasad Chalise has died of corona infection.
Chalise, who had been suffering from heart problems for a long time, died at the Shahid Ganga Lal National Heart Center in Bansbari, Kathmandu.
Seventy-years-old Chalise was admitted to the hospital five days ago. During treatment, he was diagnosed with corona infection.
A resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 3, Chalise had retired from the post of Chief Judge of the then Court of Appellate, Pokhara in July 2013.
