The government has adjusted the price of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction )testing charge for Corona virus (Covid-19). As per the information given by the Ministry of Health and Population , the PCR test fee has been fixed at a maximum of Rs 2,000.
Whereas the previous maximum cost was Rs 4,400, it has been reduced to Rs 2,000, informs the Ministry of Health and Population’s s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam
According to Gautam, the price was reduced with the price reduction in reagents and other raw materials.
The government had previously slashed the cost from Rs 5,500 to Rs 4,400 .
