Ramechhap’s Sahayogi Maan (RASAM) has extinguished the hunger of more than 1,000 people from the food bank run in Manthali.

The Food Bank, which has been operating since September 10, is distributing 2 kg of rice, 1 kg of salt, half a kg of pulses and 200 g  of soybean (Masyaura) to each family. As of last September 22, Rasam has already been distributed 564 kg of rice, 282 kg of salt, 141 kg of pulses and 56.4 kg soybean(Masyaura) .

According to RASAM, a total of 1,154 people from 282 families have been covered by the Food Bank so far. According to Nawaraj Shrestha, 46 people have taken food from the food bank on September 21, the most  number of people have taken food on a day.
